We offer activities to help kids, young adults and seniors improve handwriting legibility and skills. Such as letter formation, placement and line usage.
Hand-Eye Coordination and Visual Motor Integration skills are essential for navigating basic activities in daily living. From school and play, to work and entertainment, we understand the importance of integrating visual and motor skills in order to better function in both private and social settings.
From learning how to hold a pencil to coloring and drawing letters, we help our clients learn fine motor development, increase hand strength, and focus on finger isolation through one-on-one therapy sessions.
Basic ball skills include throwing, catching, kicking, and rolling. Because playing with a ball helps to develop bilateral integration, hand-eye coordination, sequencing, timing and other fine motor skills it is one of the key exercises we start with when doing therapy sessions.
Cutting exercises both increase hand strength and help the client to develop coordination and dexterity on their own. Additionally, cutting skills help with motor skills and visual motor integration.
